National team goes down 2-1 to lose all hopes of making Euro 2016

The Greek national soccer team suffered another evening of shame at the hands of the Faroe Islands, losing this time 2-1 away, seven months after its 1-0 loss at home in November. These results have now sealed Greece?s elimination from the finals of Euro 2016.

Three Greek international soccer players were slightly injured on Monday in a car crash as they travelled by taxi to Budapest airport following Greece's Euro 2016 qualifying goalless draw against Hungary on Sunday.
