At a joint press conference after the meeting, Vucic said they had discussed all important issues and agreed that Serbia and Italy, as exceptionally friendly countries, maintained good political and economic relations.

After a formal welcome in front of the Palace of Serbia, the tete-a-tete meeting between the Italian Prime Minister and the Serbian President began.

Vucic: Meloni's upcoming visit to Serbia important
DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Italian PM Giorgia Meloni would come to Belgrade in less than two days and that her visit would be important for bilateral ties and for bringing in more investors, as well as for bilateral political ties and Italy's further support to Serbia's progress on the EU path.

Vučić: "They want us to recognize Kosovo so that Serbs can go to elections in Kosovo"
"We had important meetings. I spoke with Charles Michel and with the presidents of Hungary, Poland, Belarus, as well as with people from the IMF," Vui said, adding that all the conversations were of special importance for Serbia.
"In order to solve all the problems, there must be order in international relations," he added.
