Alexander Nanau's Collective receives Gopo Award for Best Feature
The documentary "colectiv/Collective" by Alexander Nanau - Romania's 2021 Oscar nomination for Best Documentary and Best Foreign Language Film - received the Gopo Award for Best Feature at the gala that took place on Tuesday evening at the "Mihai Eminescu" amphitheater in Bucharest.
Gopo Awards Gala: 'Closer to the moon,' best feature film
"Closer to the moon" on Monday evening was awarded the best feature film prize in this year's edition of the Gopo Awards Gala and Nae Caranfil received the best director award for the same film.

Romanian Director Wins Berlin Film Prize
Radu Jude won the award for his historical drama "Aferim!", the story of the hunt for a runaway Roma slave in the 19th century.
The film highlights the cruelty and deep-rooted prejudices that were rife at the time, when people from Romania's Roma minority were kept as slaves by monasteries and local overlords.

Aferim! of Radu Jude wins silver bear for Best Director at Berlinale 2015
Director Radu Jude received the Silver Bear for "Aferim!", at the Berlinale 2015 Film Festival, on Saturday evening.

"If I knew I would win such a prize, I would have been more serious when shooting it," Radu Jude said on the Berlinale stage.
