Croatia’s Euro to Feature Inventor Tesla, Claimed Also by Serbia
Croatia announced on Wednesday that the final proposals for the motifs for future Croatian euro coins, which will replace today's national currency, the kuna, are the Croatian coat-of-arms, a geographical map of Croatia, the marten - the animal after which kuna was named, the Glagolitic script - the oldest known Slavic alphabet and the inventor Nikola Tesla who was born in central Croatia.

Memorial service for Serbs killed in Croatia
BELGRADE -- A memorial service for Serbs killed in September 1993 by Croatian forces in the Medak Pocket (Medački Džep) area was held in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Dozens of people - members of the families of the victims and Serb refugees from Croatia - gathered for the service.

Serb expellees conditionally support Tesla day initiative
BELGRADE - The Coalition of Refugee Associations in Serbia conditionally supported the initiative by Croat MPs and the government to declare July 10 the day of Nikola Tesla and the day of science, technology and innovation in Croatia and to reinstall the damaged Tesla monument in Gospic.
