Beautiful Helle quits party leadership after general elections defeat
Helle Thorning-Schmidt, departing Danish Prime Minister announced she quits the leadership of her party, Socialdemokraterne, after her defeat in Thursday’s general elections.
The opposition, center-right coalition of Lars Løkke Rasmussen, including the Venstre party and the DF party acquired 90 parliamentary seats against 85 of the former Danish PM’s center-left coalition.
