Elderly Serb couple beaten up, robbed in Kosovo-Metohija
GRACANICA - An elderly Serb couple was beaten up and robbed in their family home in Gracanica, Kosovo-Metohija, around midnight on Sunday.
After sustaining head injuries in the attack, Dragan and Dusanka Aleksic were found by a neighbour who drove them to the Gracanica hospital, after which they were urgently transported to Pristina for further medical care.
Two Serbs beaten up by Pristina's police in Gracanica
GRACANICA - Three officers of the so-called Kosovo Police beat up two Serb men in central Gracanica, Kosovo-Metohija, on Thursday night.
One of the eyewitnesses told reporters that the Serbs - brothers identified as A M, aged 24, and M M, aged 19 - had been beaten up because one of them had asked the police why a traffic offence ticket was written in Albanian.

Kosovo Serbs Rally for Release of War Crimes Suspect
Dozens of locals gathered on Tuesday in the town of Gracanica, close to the capital Pristina in central Kosovo, in the latest of a series of demonstrations against last week's arrest of a Kosovo Serb man on war crime charges.
They held up banners and placards with slogans like "Freedom for all the arrested Serbs" and pledges of trust in Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

PANCEVO - Serbian Progressive Party leader and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday he was very concerned over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija but that there would be no independent "Kosovo".

Shooting at the school in Kosovo and Metohija, Petković reacted
''Last night around 10 p.m., unknown persons shot in the direction of the yard of Primary School "Ugljare", in the village of Ugljare, near Kosovo Polje in Kosovo and Metohija'', Aleksandar Trajkovi, President of the Provisional Body of the Municipality of Kosovo Polje, said for Tanjug.
According to Trajkovi, there were also children in the school yard at the time of the shooting.

The Serbian president said this for RTS, apparently referring to a spate of recent incidents targeting Serbs in Kosovo.

Kosovo Police Stop 'Illegal' Serb Census Attempts
Kosovo Police said they raided Serbian Red Cross centres on the authorisation of the courts on Wednesday night in Prizren, Pristina, Pejë/Pec, Gjilan/Gnjilane and Mitrovicë/Mitrovica.
"Seized documents are suspected to be related to a census, considered suspicious and in contradiction to the law, as a census should be conducted by Kosovo institutions," the police press release said.
