A diplomatic scandal broke out between Romania and Hungary after Budapest decided to withdraw its support for Romania's accession to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development because of the cessation of any activity of the Roman Catholic Lyceum in the Romanian city of Targu Mures, Mediafax reports. Turkish FM disputes Lausanne Treaty
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has disputed the Treaty of Lausanne, which set out the modern borders between Greece and Turkey, saying that Ankara will not accept "de facto situations" in the Aegean Sea.
Speaking before Turkey's National Assembly, Cavusoglu said that a number of interconnected problems remain in the Aegean between the two neighboring countries.

Bulgaria Braces for Torch-Lit Rallies on WWI Treaty Anniversary
Nationalist VMRO party is organizing rallies across Bulgaria as the country is marking 97 years since the Treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine, which it signed after losing the First World War.
In Varna, a copy of the treaty will be burnt by VMRO members and supporters not far from the city center, Darik Radio reports.

Romania Nationalist Tudor Dies Aged 65
Corneliu Vadim Tudor, a politician known for his strongly nationalist and xenophobic views, died of cardiovascular disease in Bucharest on Monday. He was 65.
Tudor began his public career as a writer and poet and penned verses flattering Romania's former communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu.

Several marches by patriotic organizations are to mark the 95th year since the Neuilly Treaty in major Bulgarian cities.
