Former FM Venizelos to lead debate on post-Trump Turkey relations
Public stores and Papadopoulos Editions are organizing a public debate on Thursday titled "One Day After Biden's Inauguration: Greek-Turkish Relations and the Broader Context of Relations between Turkey and the West."
The event will feature former deputy prime minister and foreign minister Evangelos Venizelos.

As Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday left open the possibility of meeting with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, his Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu insisted that the agenda of the upcoming exploratory contacts between Athens and Ankara must include "all disagreements" and not just maritime areas of responsibility as Greece wants.

The outgoing president often flaunted his friendship with his Turkish counterpart, and many say it was a quid pro quo relationship based on business interests.
