Greek PM Tsipras calls on IMF to clarify position on Greek program (video)
Greek PM Alexis Tsipras told reporters that he called on the IMF to clarify its stance on whether it would participate in the Greek bailout program during a press conference following the EU Summit meeting in Brussels. “I asked the IMF to make its position clear and commit”, Mr. Tsipras told reporters.
Early elections closer as 2nd review stalls
Both major political parties in Greece have alluded to early elections in light of the current conditions in Greece. SYRIZA released a statement on occasion of the government’s 2nd year anniversary in power on January 25, labelling its victory 2 years ago historic both for Greece and Europe as a whole.

Excluding IMF is no panacea for Greece

ND: We need an exit plan from crisis
Major opposition party New Democracy (ND) threw down the gauntlet at the Greek government and PM Alexis Tsipras calling for national elections, in a statement by the party’s spokesperson Vasilis Kikilias. ND called for the implementation of a “Greek growth plan to exit the crisis under conditions of national dignity and responsibility”.
