Alan Greenspan predicts Grexit
Alan Greenspan, the former chief of the US central bank from 1987 to 2006, predicted a Grexit for Greece. Speaking with the BBC, he said that he could not see who would be willing to put up more loans to bolster Greece's struggling economy.

Greece steadfast in demand for 3-month 'bridge deal'
The EU may have warned that time is running out and that a cash crisis for Greece is looming, but the new Greek government appears steadfast in regards to its demand for a 3-month "bridge deal" until a new agreement is negotiated.
Greece says has no cash problem, to present plan next week
Greece said on Saturday it had no short-term cash problem and that it will hand its European Union partners a comprehensive plan next week for managing the transition to a new debt deal.
The EU has warned time is running out to avoid a financing crisis in Greece.
Opinion Poll: Most Greeks love the new gov't
An opinion poll by the University of Macedonia for SKAI TV recorded that three out of every four Greeks, 75%, believe that the new government is determined to carry out its pre-election pledges while 72% of Greek citizens support the government's confrontation with the troika of international creditors from the European Commission, European Central Bank and International Monetary fund.

Eurozone peers hike pressure on the government
Greece?s eurozone partners on Friday increased the pressure on the new government to request an extension to the country?s bailout before an emergency summit of eurozone finance ministers on Wednesday, with officials rejecting Greek proposals for a ?bridge? agreement to be put in place until the end of May so that a new arrangement can be found.

Greece intends to reject bailout extension
Despite pressure from eurozone officials to agree to a further extension to the existing bailout, the Greek government insisted Friday that it would not accept its partners? offer but would instead propose the terms of a bridging agreement to see it through the next few months.

Fitch report: Grexit unlikely to trigger systemic crisis
Fitch Ratings said in a report on Friday that the eurozone would suffer a significant shock if Greece left, but it would be unlikely to trigger a systemic crisis like that in 2012, or another country?s rapid exit.
