Ground zero

The United States marked the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on Sept. 11 with solemn services to commemorate the victims of the deadliest terror strikes on U.S. soil, which changed the world forever.

Families of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, will gather at the World Trade Center site on Sunday to remember those they lost. At 8,46 a.m houses across New York City will toll their bells as a moment’s silence to mark the  instant when the first plane struck the World Trade Center’s north tower.
