Heavy rains cause flooding in Hatay
Heavy rains which started on May 24 morning, following warnings from the State Meteorological Service, have caused significant flooding in the southern province of Hatay.
The rainfall, varying in intensity across districts, was particularly severe in Antakya by evening, creating challenging conditions for drivers.

Storm warning issued for Marmara, Aegean regions
The Turkish State Meteorology Service (MGM) has issued a yellow-code warning for six provinces, including Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Edirne, İzmir, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ, as strong winds, known as lodos, are expected to sweep through the Marmara and Aegean regions of Türkiye, bringing the possibility of mud showers due to dust transport.
