Few days ago, you have become a judge at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA). Congratulations! Could you explain your role and why is it important on national level?

People change and adapt when they’re in a relationship—and not usually in ways that make them more unique. Studies suggest that over time, romantic partners can become more similar in subtle ways.

From the 30th of June to the 2nd of July, at the 59th International Wine Competition - Vino Ljubljana, 48 tasters from 15 countries selected five world champions out of 430 samples from 19 countries. This year the number of both, the samples and the tasters exceeded last year's, explained Mr. Matjaž Kovačič, the head of the team Vino Ljubljana.

Rose of the World! That was her name. Gülcihan; when literally translated, "gül," meaning rose in Turkish, and "cihan" is world. We only met briefly, about two months ago. It was a wine-tasting event in Ankara; her smile was contagious, warm and hugging. 

"Life is too short to drink bad wine." That is the motto of serious wine collectors. A good wine is what we deserve for that special moment. But when is the right time? Which bottle is the right choice for that particular time? We often have that special bottle we reserve for a memorable occasion.

The wine exhibition DiVino.Taste starts on November 14 in Hall 3 of Sofia's National Palace of Culture (NDK).

This year's event will focus on wines from south western Bulgaria, vintage 2008, but will present 55 Bulgarian producers from all regions.

The three-day exhibition will offer tastings of various high quality Bulgarian wines, master classes, lectures and presentations.
