British state minister due in Turkey for 3-day visit
A U.K. minister from Foreign Office is set to pay a three-day visit to Turkey, an official statement said on June 26.
Wendy Morton, U.K. minister for European Neighborhood and the Americas, "will be visiting Ankara and Hatay which hosts the UN cross-border aid operations to Syria" on June 27-29, according to the statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Turkish foreign minister to meet EU foreign policy chief
The Turkish foreign minister and EU foreign policy chief are scheduled to have a bilateral meeting in Antalya, southern Turkey on June 18.
During the bilateral meeting, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Josep Borrell will review "all aspects of the relations" ahead of EU summit that will be held on June 24-25, said a statement by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Turkish-Egyptian relations can progress gradually: Egyptian FM
Based on mutual respect, relations between Turkey and Egypt will progress gradually, said Egypt's foreign minister late on June 12.
Speaking to Egypt's Sada El-Balad TV, Samih Shukri said relations with Turkey are being addressed on the basis of "non-interference in internal affairs, mutual respect and interest."
Ankara aims to strengthen relations with Paris: FM Çavuşoğlu
The Turkish and French foreign ministers on June 7 discussed "multidimensional relations and regional and international issues" in Paris, said Turkey's top diplomat.
"We discussed our multidimensional relations and regional and international issues with my French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian," Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Twitter after the meeting.
Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan FMs to meet in Istanbul
A trilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan is scheduled to take place in Istanbul on April 23.
"Along with recent developments regarding the Afghan Peace Process, cooperation in the fields of security, energy, connectivity and irregular migration will be discussed during the Trilateral Meeting," said a Foreign Ministry statement.
Turkey-Greece talks held in positive atmosphere: Turkish FM
The 61st consultation meeting between Turkey and Greece held in Istanbul on Jan. 25 took place in an extremely positive environment, and the "exploratory" talks, which were restarted after almost a 5-year hiatus, have now turned into a "consultation meeting," Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said.
Turkey, Pakistan pledge to jointly work against Islamophobia
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Pakistani President Arif Alvi on Jan. 13 stressed the importance of working closely in joint efforts against Islamophobia, in the fight against hate crimes and other forms of intolerance against Islam.
