Roman Bath protected by glass terrace
The mosaics in the Roman Bath, located in the ancient city of Hadrianopolis in the Eskipazar district of Karabük, will be protected against external factors with a glass terrace.
The ancient city of Hadrianopolis is believed to have been used for settlement until the eighth century.

Monument to two great philhellenes used as coffee table
Nine years after the vandalism of the monument dedicated to 19th century French philhellenes General Charles Nicolas Fabvier and Francois Robert, who fought valiantly in the struggle for Greek independence, all that is left is its base, which is sometimes used as a coffee table for passers-by on the Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian road ringing the Acropolis in Athens.
1,600-year-old seeds found in ancient kitchen
The kitchen section of a structure has been unearthed during excavations that have been going on for 20 years in the ancient city of Hadrianopolis in the Eskipazar district of Karabük. Examinations in the kitchen revealed seeds from 1,600 years ago.

Rome's Pantheon charges for tourist entry
Rome's 2,000-year-old Pantheon started charging for entrance on July 3, with tourists paying 5 euros ($5) to see Italy's most visited cultural site.
The building, one of the city's oldest and best loved, is currently a consecrated church and part of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the diocese of Rome, while the rest will go to the culture ministry.

Church and state agree to Pantheon entrance fee
Tourists in Rome checking out the Pantheon, Italy's most-visited cultural site, will soon be charged a 5-euro ($5.28) entrance fee under an agreement signed on March 16 by Italian culture and church officials.
