S Korean president again defies summons over martial law declaration probe
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol Wednesday yet again defied summons from investigators who are probing events leading up to the short-lived Dec. 3 martial law, Yonhap news reported.
It was the third time Yoon, 63, refused to attend questioning.
South Korean opposition postpones decision to impeach acting president
South Korea's opposition said on Dec. 24 it would hold back a decision to impeach acting president Han Duck-soo until later in the week.
The opposition Democratic Party earlier said it would introduce an impeachment motion against Han on Dec. 24 to protest against the interim leader's refusal to sign into law special bills to investigate his impeached predecessor.
South Korean opposition plans new impeachment push
South Korea's main opposition party said on Sunday it will try again to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol after his declaration of martial law.
Meanwhile, police arrested the defense minister in charge of the martial law operation, and the interior minister resigned. Both they and Yoon are being investigated for alleged insurrection.

Brnabic visits South Korea
SEOUL - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, who is on an official visit to South Korea, said on Friday she was pleased the two countries had signed an agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments earlier in the day.
