Jewelry with Nazi links set to fetch $150 mln at auction
Christie's auction house will next week launch the sale of hundreds of jewels that belonged to Austrian billionaire Heidi Horten, whose German businessman husband made his fortune under the Nazis.

The largest diamond ever auctioned was sold in Geneva for a record USD 34 million, said Christie's auction house, quoted by the France press.

Highway robbery near Paris – Nine million in jewels, stolen
Nine million euros worth of jewelry was stolen by fifteen armed perpetrators who robbed two armored tracks on a Parisian freeway.
Investigations are underway in order to find the perpetrators. The robbery was carried out near midnight at an A6 freeway (Paris-Lyon) toll station, near Avalon, 200km southeast of the French capital.
