Istanbul Night Flight concerts to kick off in August
The Turkish metropolis Istanbul and Mediterranean resort city Antalya will host several concerts from August to November, organizers announced on June 28.
The concert series Turkcell Platinum Istanbul Night Flight will begin with the 60-person Night Flight Symphony Orchestra's Star Wars Cinema Symphony performance on Aug. 21, said organizer Events Across Turkey in a statement.
John Malkovich to perform in Istanbul
Turkey will feature renowned actor, director, and producer John Malkovich as part of the fourth Turkcell Platinum Istanbul Night Flight concerts.
The event will kick off March 13 in Istanbul and will continue through Oct. 29 at Aya Irini and Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Metal stars to start Istanbul New Year countdown
Istanbul is preparing to bid farewell to 2019 with a thrilling night of metal music.
In the "Rock the New Year" event, which will be held as part of the "Rock Off Event Series," the names that metal fans look forward to seeing will be on stage on Dec. 27 at IF Performance Hall in Beşiktaş district.

Hayko Cepkin, a Turkish-Armenian musician, has made an unconventional start to his latest concert when he arrived at the scene from the sky with a parachute.
Rock festival in Zeytinli
One of the notable festivals in Turkey, the Zeytinli Rock Festival, kicks off today in Zeytinli in the northwestern province of Balıkesir's Edremit district.
Teoman, Şebnem Ferah, Mor ve Ötesi, Hayko Cepkin, Pentagram, and Selda Bağcan & Boom Pam will be among the performers of the five-day festival that will continue until Aug. 27.

Istanbul to host Love Festival
The 360 Degree Love Festival, which features various art disciplines, will be organized in Istanbul between Feb. 9 and 29 around the theme "World in Love."
The 8th edition of the festival was launched at a press conference on Jan. 13. The curator of the festival, I??k Genço?lu, said they had started eight years ago as a small event and now hosted more than 100 artists.
