Government falls in Tunisia after no-confidence vote
The government Tunisian Prime Minister-designate Habib Jemli fell on Jan. 10 after a no-confidence vote in parliament.
The Jemli government failed to get a vote of confidence from the Tunisian assembly, Rachid Ghannouchi, the parliament speaker announced following the vote.
Tunisia PM warns no one safe in anti-graft 'war'
Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed was reported on June 4 as saying no one in the North African country involved in corruption would emerge unscathed in his government's "war" on graft.
Corruption was widespread in Tunisia under longtime president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, who was ousted in the 2011 uprising that spawned the Arab Spring, but it remains endemic.

Former interior minister nominated as new Tunisia premier
A former Tunisian interior minister has been nominated as prime minister to form a new government after an agreement among political parties in the newly elected parliament, congress speaker Mohamed Nacer said on Jan. 5.
