Romania, below EU average, above Austria in terms of healthy years of life
Romania is below the European Union average when it comes to the number of years a person is expected to continue to live in a healthy condition at birth, but above other EU member states, such as Austria, Finland and Slovenia, show data released on Tuesday by Eurostat.
Eurostat: 7 out of 10 Bulgarians Say they are in Good Health
About 72 percent or 7 out of 10 Bulgarians over the age of 16 define their health status as good or very good. This shows data from a Eurostat analysis of the health status of Europeans in 2017 on the upcoming World Health Day, April 7, with the EU average of 70 percent, that is, we are almost approaching our health self-assessment to an average European level.
Life expectancy rises in Greece, OECD report says
Life expectancy at birth has risen in Greece to reach 80.7 years compared to an EU28 average of 79.2 years, according to a new OECD report.
