Tsakalotos, Stournaras at Frankfurt conference
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos will be the keynote speaker at an Economist conference in Frankfurt on Wednesday titled "Greece: A Comeback to the Financial Markets?"
Also addressing the conference will be Alternate Economy Minister Alexis Haritsis, Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras and his fellow ECB Executive Board member Benoit Coeure.

Tsakalotos calls on IMF to stop pressing for extra austerity
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos on Monday called on the International Monetary Fund not to seek a compromise that would be detrimental to Greece in comments at the 27th annual conference of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
FinMin Tsakalotos meets with his French counterpart
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos met with French Finance Minister Michel Sapin in Paris on Sunday in the framework of the Greek minister’s European itinerary.
At a joint press conference, Mr. Tsakalotos said that trust had been built around the strategy Greece is following, leading him to believe that a “responsible agenda” would be put together.
FM Tsakalotos says pension cuts was the right thing to do
Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalos claimed that cutting the pensions was the right thing to do, during his speech at Economist conference.
Mr. Tsakalotos said that the government’s choice to cut the pensions was the right thing to do adding that social security system cannot solve all problems, such as as the employment, the tax system, etc.
FinMin Tsakalotos to visit London
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos will travel to London to meet with foreign investors following the Euro working group meeting which was held on Monday.
Tsakalotos will address the conference “Economic Blues: The left in government times” at the LSE, as he announced via his personal account on Twitter.

Finance minister appoints the new head of revenue service
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos appointed Frangiskos Koutentakis as the new General Secretary of Fiscal Policy, according to the ministry statement.
Petros Triarchis was appointed as new head of the General Secretariat for Information Systems.
Greek FinMin on meeting with Quartet
Following a 6 hour meeting with the representatives of the Quartet institutions, Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos told the media about some of the issues covered. The Greek Finance Minister said they talked about organizational matters, as well as how they intended to resolve any issue of misunderstanings or differences of opinion that might arise in a timely manner.
