Heraklion: A man was found dead on a beach in Malia
A 54-year-old man has been pulled dead from a beach in Malia, in Heraklion, Crete.
As the flashnews.gr website reports, the incident happened on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 10, when the 54-year-old man from Italy attempted to climb the small island “Aphenti”.
German tourist arrested for abandoning child in drunken stupor
Authorities on Crete have arrested a 57-year-old German holidaymaker on charges of exposing his 9-year-old child to danger.
Police said that the child had been left alone for hours in a hotel premises in Hersonissos, Irakio, while its father was in a state of total inebriation in his room.
