The Alimnia islet, located between Rhodes and Halki, was chosen by the Belgian travel agency “Beyond Borders” for the survival game ‘The Island’ which will begin in October 2016.

“Beyond Borders” is a new tourism agency that organises concept adventure trips, which do not exist anywhere else in Europe.

State-run Anadolu reported this week that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wants to “bargain” with Greece for the reopening of the Halki Orthodox seminary in Turkey.

President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has reportedly expressed Turkey's readiness to re-open the Halki Seminary in the Adalar district of Istanbul in return for Greece allowing a mosque to function in Thessaloniki.
