A controversial plaque with the Croatian WWII fascist Ustasa slogan ‘Za dom spremni’ was removed from Jasenovac, near the location of a wartime Ustasa concentration camp.
Croatian embassy received Serbia's protest note over neo-fascist rally
The Croatian embassy in Belgrade on Monday received Serbia's protest note.
The note was given to the charge d'affairs over the events that unfolded during Saturday's rally in Zagreb of the Autochthonous Croatian Rights Party (A-HSP).
Greif: Croatian death camp Jasenovac was "worse than Auschwitz"
The canonization of Croatian Catholic Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac would be itself a crime, says Israeli Holocaust expert, Professor Gideon Greif.
According to him, the people who intend to canonize Stepinac are "criminals who are mocking the victims of Jasenovac" - a camp where, according to the survivors, torture was even more horrible than in Auschwitz.

Many sites of mass murder committed during World War II in Yugoslavia are neglected or left unmarked, according to new research by the Centre for Holocaust Research and Education, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Serbia and the Faculty of Philosophy from Rijeka, Croatia.

Croatia: Remains of Serb victims exhumed and identified in Zagreb
The remains of 14 victims of Serb nationality, killed during armed conflicts in Croatia in 1995, have been identified in Zagreb, Croatia.
This was announced on Tuesday by the Serbian Government's Commission on Missing Persons.
According to a statement, the remains had been exhumed in Gornje Seliste, Vrbovljani, Sibenik, Zadar and in other locations.

The Croatian website Lupiga has published video footage of a group of final year high school students from Zagreb shouting "For home ready!" ("Za dom spremni").
This was a greeting used by the Ustasha regime of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) - a WW2 Nazi-allied entity that operated death camps for Serbs, Jews, and Roma.
