Plovdiv: Infrastructure Damage from Overflowing River in Kuklen Estimated at Nearly BGN 2 Million
Kuklen. According to preliminary estimates, the damage to the infrastructure caused by the overflowing river in the Kuklen municipality amounts to between BGN 1.5 million and BGN 2 million, Mayor Maria Belcheva told Focus Radio. The municipality will seek aid from the state for reconstruction and repair, as it cannot afford to pay that amount.

BELGRADE - Director of the Government Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief Marko Blagojevic stated that only 300 reconstruction applications have been filed by 13 municipalities to the Office so far concerning the transfer of funds to citizens whose homes were damaged in the May floods.

Pakistan court orders police to charge ex-CIA station chief
Islamabad's High Court on Thursday ordered police to press charges against the CIA's former station chief for murder, conspiracy and waging war against Pakistan.
Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui issued the orders following a 2010 court petition by drone activist Kareem Khan, whose brother and teenage son were killed in a US drone strike in North Waziristan tribal district.
