Workers make living 40 meters high up
Pruning workers in the Aegean province of Balıkesir's Edremit district challenge the height on the top of trees that are 40 meters tall so that young saplings can receive the sun.
Workers, also known as 'squirrel man' among the people, started to work in line with the rejuvenation of the vegetation project in the world-famous Kaz Mountains conducted by authorities.

Bulgaria: Jump in Prices of Greenhouse Vegetables is Expected in Spring
Greenhouse vegetable prices are expected to rise in the spring due to higher electricity and gas prices.
On BNT the vegetable producer Ivaylo Peshev from Kresna said that the overhead costs for his greenhouse have risen several times. The prices of the raw materials he uses for his production have also increased dramatically.
Horticulture fair declared open
BELGRADE - The International Horticulture Fair Beoplantfair has opened in Belgrade on Thursday, and the exhibition of medicinal plants and honey-derived products "Gifts of Nature" is being traditionally held alongside it.
As was the case two years ago, Belgrade Fair is also hosting MotoPlantExpo, the exhibition of garden and park machinery and accompanying equipment.

More than 3,000 farmers to receive compensation for crop damage
The Greek Agricultural Insurance Organization (ELGA) is expected to disburse the sum of 3 million euros in compensation to 3,283 agricultural producers on Friday.
The funds are being distributed for damage incurred in 2013 and 2014.
