US envoy visits Thessaloniki NGO supporting women
US Ambassador to Greece, George Tsunis, visited the Greek, non-profit, humanitarian organization Irida Women's Center in Thessaloniki on Tuesday.
"One of the lessons we must learn in life is that we must stand up for each other, speak up for each other and take care of one another," Tsunis said at the center, set up to provide support and resources to protect women.

North Macedonia’s New COVID-19 Restrictions Raise Personal Data Fears

Trade union unhappy with partial reopening of hospitality sector
Ljubljana – Although the hospitality sector has been eagerly awaiting at least a partial reopening, it is unhappy with the government’s decision to reopen only outdoor facilities in eight of Slovenia’s 12 regions with the best epidemiological situation. There, outdoor facilities will operate from 7am to 7pm for a week from Monday, 19 April.

The hospitality industry is strongly affected by the spread of coronavirus, and companies in this industry are expecting a 50-60% drops in revenues, according to a study by the Hospitality Culture Institute released on Friday. Hotels, transport and travel agencies report massive declines in bookings and cancellations of events. With these, the food service industry is feeling a major impact.
