President Nikolic arrives on two-day visit to UAE
ABU DHAB - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Thursday arrived on a two-day working visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Nikolic was welcomed by Minister of State for Higher Education Ahmad Belhoul.

Vucic, Bin Zayed discuss cooperation, Belgrade Waterfront
ABU DHABI - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic met in Abu Dhabi on Friday with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, to discuss bilateral cooperation and the numerous joint projects, as well as international affairs and regional relations in the Western Balkans.
Tsipras to visit Abu Dhabi and Jerusalem
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will visit Abu Dhabi from Friday until Sunday where he is expected to meet with French President Francois Hollande and Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi.
Tsipras will participate in a UNESCO conference for the protection of cultural heritage organized by the United Arab Emirates and France.

In what may be seen as a big boost for India's policy towards West Asia, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE armed forces Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan has confirmed his participation in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi as a chief guest on January 26, 2017.

Cover up! Nude Roman and Greek masterpieces hidden so as to not insult Muslim visitors
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has ordered that all nude sculptures on display at the Capitoline Museum should be covered up so as not to offend visiting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. Greek classical sculptures as well as Roman masterpieces have been hidden in a bid to seal multi-billion agreements that Rouhani arrived in Rome on Monday to sign.
"UAE investors should be more present" - PM
PM Aleksandar Vucic has "expressed his wish that investors from the United Arab Emirates become even more present in Serbia."
Vucic made the comment during his meeting in Belgrade on Thursday with UAE Ambassador to Serbia Juma Rashid Saif Zayed Al Dhaheri.

PM Ponta rounds off Gulf tour

Greek foreign minister to visit Abu Dhabi and Beijing
After his visit to Berlin on Sunday, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is due to meet United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
Kotzias will then fly to Beijing, where he is expected to meet his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.
Gasic, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discuss cooperation
ABU DHABI - There is a strong orientation towards essential improvement in the already good defence cooperation between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and overall bilateral relations, Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, agreed during a meeting on Monday.
