Bosnia's Federation Elects New President
Deputies in the Federation parliament on Monday confirmed the appointments of the new entity officials as the country took another step towards forming governments after last October's elections.
The formation of the government in the Federation entity will also enable the formation of the state government, the Council of Ministers.

World Conservatives Hold Solidarity Meeting in Bosnia
An international alliance of conservative parties, the International Democratic Union, IDU, held the meeting of its Executive Committee and Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs in Bosnia on Monday, in a sign of support to its local member parties and to the new EU plan for the country.

Sefik Dzaferovic, of the [mainly Bosniak] Party of Democratic Action, SDA, was named president of the House of Representatives, one of two chambers of Bosnia's state-level parliament, in a vote at the first session on December 9.

Bosnian Serbs, Croats Cement Alliance on Govt
Bosnia's two main Serbian and Croatian parties, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, SNSD, and the Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ, agreed in Mostar to join entity and state-level governments together. They said they now seek a partner among the Bosniaks.

Bosnia Election Results Seal Nationalists' Triumph
