Princess Margareta awarded honorary degree of Banat University of Agricultural Sciences
Her Royal Highness, Princess Margareta of Romania, was awarded on Friday the honorary degree of the Timisoara-based University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat "King Mihai I", with the academic institution thus marking 70 years since its coming into being under a Royal Decree signed by His Majesty King Mihai I of Romania.

Rugby Union and Oina Sports Federations receive the High Patronage of HM King Mihai I

Tariceanu, presented with France's Knight of the Legion of Honour decoration
On Thursday at the French Embassy in Bucharest, Chairman of Romania's Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu was presented France's Knight of the Legion of Honour decoration, at a ceremony also attended by Princess Margareta, Prince Radu, former presidents Ion Iliescu and Emil Constantinescu, along with political figures and more.

Princess Margareta and Prince Radu welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace
Princess Margareta, the elder daughter of ex-sovereign of Romania Michael I and her husband Prince Radu were welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, King Michael's Press Office announced in a release to AGERPRES on Wednesday.
The meeting at Buckingham Palace was an invitation to tea at 5 p.m., the release added.
Romanian Olympic Committee awarded Nihil Sine Deo royal distinction
