Over 2,000 irregular migrants caught
Security forces have caught more than 2,000 irregular migrants and nearly 130 human traffickers in simultaneous operations across the country, according to the Interior Ministry.

Nearly 20 arrested over human trafficking
Security forces have arrested 17 people, including foreign nationals, for involvement in human trafficking in the eastern province of Van, bordering Iran.
The police conducted nine operations between Jan. 17 and Jan. 23, targeting suspected human traffickers and detained 19 people among them three Afghan and three Iran nationals.

Romanian Spanish, Police Bust Gang Exporting Sex Slaves
Romanian and Spanish police have busted a criminal gang that recruited young girls in Romania for sex work in nightclubs in Spain, Europol said on Thursday.
Six suspects have been arrested in Romania and seven in Spain during the operation, which also led to the identification of 25 victims in the two countries. Some 24 of the trafficked women were Romanians and one is a Bulgarian.
