Former OSE president testifies in investigation of Tempe train crash
The former president of the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE) appeared before an appellate-level examining magistrate in Larissa on Monday as part of the ongoing investigation into the tragic rail accident at Tempe that claimed the lives of 57 individuals on February 28.

New ‘two-day’ Parliament to be sworn in on Sunday
The parliamentary deputies elected in the May 21 general elections will be sworn in at 6 p.m. on Sunday, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and caretaker prime minister, Ioannis Sarmas.

A deep current surfaces
Undetected by our political radar, the meteorite "Democratic Patriotic Movement Victory" crashed onto Parliament's doorstep in Sunday's elections. And even then, it was as if no one could believe what the charts were showing in TV panel discussions. There was hardly any mention of the newly established party.

Bulgarian Author Georgi Gospodinov Won the "Booker" Prize for "Time Shelter”
The novel "Time Shelter" by Bulgarian author Georgi Gospodinov won the most prestigious international award given for a specific work - "Booker". The prize was awarded at a ceremony in the British capital, London.
Gospodinov became the first Bulgarian writer with this award. The English translation was made by Angela Rodel.
