Number of cases of coronavirus increased by 18.9 pct in April 6-12 week over previous one
The number of cases of coronavirus infection increased in the April 6-12 week by 18.9 pct over the previous week, according to a weekly monitoring report published on the website of the National Public Health Institute. 51 pct of the cases recorded were in Suceava, Bucharest, Hunedoara, Timis and Neamt.
GCS: Man infected with novel coronavirus dead - death toll hits 30
Bucharest, Mar 28 /Agerpres/ - A man aged 74 from Hunedoara County, infected with the novel coronavirus, has died, the number of deaths reaching 30, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed Saturday. The man was admitted to the Oncology Ward of the County Hospital in Deva, with terminal neoplasm.
Miners continuing underground protest
Over 100 miners of the Paroseni and Uricani coal mines in Jiu Valley are continuing their protest in the underground of the two mines, for the second day in a row, not satisfied with the fact that there are no compensatory solutions for employees who will be laid off early next year.
