At an extraordinary meeting, the Budget and Finance Commission and the Energy Commission approved the Draft Law for Providing Aid for Repayment of the Debt of the National Electric Company submitted by the council of Ministers.

The vote on the draft law will take place on Wednesday in Parliament.

The possibility of Greece postponing the repayment of any debt tranches to the International Monetary Fund is seen as ?exceptionally complicated? with ?many obstacles,? according to officials familiar with the subject. Depositors with Bulgaria's collapsed Corporate Commercial Bank have been paid  BGN 1.07 B during the first day of repayment of state-guaranteed deposits, Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov has said.

Bulgaria's Deposit Insurance Fund said on Thursday that from 4 December 2014 it will start repaying state-protected deposits in Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB), which had its banking license withdrawn earlier in the day.
