Access to public documents for all
Greek citizens and legal entities will soon be able to request access to public documents, both administrative and private, as the Tromso Convention will be voted for by Parliament on Friday.
Greece is one of the last countries in Europe tο have not yet adopted the Tromso Convention which entered into force on December 1, 2020.

Over 52,000 Bulgarians Lack Up-to-Date Addresses and ID Cards
According to data from the Ministry of the Interior, there are currently 52,052 Bulgarian citizens lacking both an up-to-date permanent address and a valid identity card. Of these individuals, 2,291 are between the ages of 14 and 18, while the remaining 49,761 are adults.

Payments by card up 12.5% in Q2
The value of payments by credit and debit card rose 12.5% in the second quarter (April-June) of 2024 to over €18.8 billion.
The number of transactions by card rose 15.2% to 629.2 million.
The numbers include transactions made abroad with cards issued by Greek banks.
