European Economics Commissioner Pierre Moscovici has condemned the early Monday bomb attack against Skai TV.

"Press freedom is one of the pillars of European society. Every attack on it is an attack against our way of life, our principles and our values - an attack on all Europeans," Moscovici said in a tweet.

The blast caused extensive damage but no injuries.
 

The European Commission will examine whether Greece has the fiscal leeway to implement the measures included in its 2019 draft budget, European Economic Commissioner Pierre Moscovici said on Monday.

The European Commission would like eurozone governments to reach a deal on the details of debt relief for Greece by the end of the year to boost its economic growth, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said on Tuesday.
