Intentional Arson in Sofia Leaves almost 13 Thousand People without Electricity
An intentional arson in a collector near Slivnitsa blvd in Sofia, caused by attempted theft, left 12,600 customers of CEZ Distribution in six capital districts late last night, the company said.
Affected were households and business users in Zaharna Fabrika, Ilinden, St. Trinity, West Park, Fondovi Housing and Banishora.
No Hot Water until 29 August in Big Part of Sofia
From August 20th to August 29th, there will be no hot water in part of the center of Sofia as well as in the Zona B-5, Zona B-18, Zona B-19, Sveta Troitsa, , "Fondovi Housing", "Banishora" and "Ilinden", reported "Toploficatsia - Sofia".
The reason, as usual, is prevention of problems.

143 illegal Roma barracks and 6 illegal houses in the Zaharna Fabrika quarter of Sofia are being demolished this morning, BTV announced.
There is no tension among the Roma at the moment - about 500 people live in illegal buildings. They are dangerous, they are built on a communal terrain.
Parts Of Sofia To Have No Hot Water Due to Renovations
Hot water supply in parts of Bulgaria's Sofia will be temporarily suspended between August 16 and 18 for equipment repairs, said the central heating utility Toplofikatsia Sofia.
