Consumption of Illicit Cigarettes in Bulgaria Registers Decrease

According to a market research of the five leading tobacco companies, the consumption of illicit cigarettes in Bulgaria has registered a decrease.

This was one of the conclusions drawn from the results of the survey, which were presented at a working meeting in the building of the interior ministry on Sunday.

Greece: “Stop to illegal cultural trafficking!”

Alternate Minister for Culture Nikos Xydakis expressed Greece’s full support for the directives issued by UNESCO on the national policies to combat illicit trafficking of cultural goods. Speaking at the Third Meeting of States Parties to the 1970 Convention in Paris, he presented the Greek proposal on the illegal cultural trade called “Stop Illicit Trafficking”.

Child porn rises by 63% in Greece says study

The INHOPE Association was established to facilitate and improve cooperation and effectiveness of European operators hotlines to combat the illicit and illegal content on the Internet. The group's statistics in Greece show a rise in child pornography with 83,644 reports of illicit cyber material from 48,910 in 2013 and 33,821 in 2012. The figure marks a 63% increase.
