The move by refugees and illegal migrants to set up a makeshift mosque at Idomeni camp on the northern borders between Greece and FYROM indicates that not only do they intend to be relocated to other hotspots in Greece, as the government would like them to, but are planning on staying for as long as it take until the borders reopen.

Risk of Muslims in Greece being radicalised, if mosque is not erected
According to UK site ‘express.co.uk’, a Greek government official from the Education Ministry, who wanted to remain anonymous told newspaper ‘Kathimerini’ that authorities fear that Muslims in Greece could be radicalised, if a mosque was not built for their religious needs soon.

Turkish imam joins ISIL in Syria, deputy PM confirms
An imam who worked at a mosque in the Çanakkale province of northwestern Turkey has joined the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), daily Taraf quoted Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç as saying on Dec. 12, adding that the imam has been removed from his post.
