PRIŠTINA -- Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci has called on members of the Kosovo assembly to vote in favor of establishing a special court for war crimes.
The court would deal with crimes committed by ethnic Albanians against Serbs during the war in 1999.

EULEX police declared "unwelcome" in northern Kosovo
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Local officials in northern Kosovo announced on Wednesday that they "cut off" cooperation with EULEX police and declared their members unwelcome in the north.
This decision came due to "continued incomprehensible arrests that greatly disturb the citizens," according to Beta.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The Management Team tasked with establishing a community of Serb municipalities, north Kosovo mayors, representatives of local self-governments and head of the Mitrovica district announced on Wednesday evening that they cut off cooperation with EULEX police, and declared their members "unwelcome" in the north of the province due to more frequent arrests of Serbs.

Kosovo and Albania Mark Anniversary of 1999 Exodus
Officials from Pristina and Tirana gathered on Wednesday in Kukes, a town in north-east Albania bordering Kosovo, to commemorate the exodus of ethnic Albanians from Kosovo in April 1999, after NATO launched its air strikes on Serbian forces in a bid to end the war.
