ATHEX: Bourse ends rising streak, falling 1 pct
The Athens bourse?s recent spurt of growth came to an end on Wednesday. The benchmark closed at its lowest point of the session, with losses of 1 percent, as investors chose to cash in some of their gains from the previous five sessions of growth. The declines on a number of other European markets also played a role.

ATHEX index drops to new 31-month low
The benchmark of the Greek bourse on Tuesday recorded a new 31-month low as many investors appear to be disengaging themselves from the ominous conditions of the local market.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 704.74 points, shedding 3.33 percent from Monday?s 728.98 points.

Small gains on low turnover in Athens bourse
The Athens stock market reopened on Tuesday after a four-day break, making moderate gains on particularly low turnover as traders are expecting the results of Wednesday?s Euro Working Group meeting as well as the outcome of the prime minister?s visit to Moscow.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 777.47 points, adding 0.80 percent to Thursday?s 771.32 points.

Economic data signal SOS
The title could have confused anyone following Turkish data. After all, at 2.6 percent annually, growth for the fourth quarter of 2014, which was released on March 31, came in significantly higher than expectations of 2.1 percent. Figures for the second and third quarters were revised up, and 2014 growth turned out to be 2.9 percent.

Turkey's economic confidence index falls 15.4 pct in month
Turkey?s economic confidence index fell by 15.4 percent in March due to decreases in a number of indices, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜ?K) on March 30.
The economic confidence index fell by 15.4 to 74.85 in March, down from 88.50 in February.
