Assailants sprayed bullets toward a row of civilian homes in a remote village in Indian-controlled Kashmir, leaving at least four civilians dead and five others injured, police said Monday.

India: A Pigeon Has Been Arrested And Accused of Being a Pakistani Spy
A pigeon has been arrested by police in India on suspicion of being a spy from Pakistan.
The bird was seized on Thursday after being spotted carrying a "stamped message" on its body.
The message was written partly in Urdu, the official language of Pakistan. It also contained a Pakistani phone number, according to reports.

Open warning: War is an option
Khan had stated this in time of growing closeness between U.S. President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who discussed things twice in the course of the last three days. Trump invited two sides to overcome differences.
Addressing journalists in the UN General Assembly, Khan referred to Modli as racist, AP reports.

Pakistan welcomes Turkey's role as mediator with India
"We welcome the Turkish offer of mediation not only in defusing the current situation but also in helping to bring lasting peace and stability to South Asia by helping Pakistan and India sit together and have a meaningful result-oriented conversation on the core issue that afflicts South Asia, and that is Kashmir," Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi told Anadolu Agency.
