Indian farmers' protest

The government has announced that 15,000 police officers will be mobilized to prevent tractors from entering "Paris and major cities", BFM TV reports.
Minister of the Interior of France, Grald Darmanin, spoke yesterday with his closest collaborators about the response of the police to the threats of disgruntled farmers.

In a surprise announcement, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Nov. 19 his government will withdraw the controversial farm laws that prompted year-long protests from tens of thousands of farmers and posed a significant political challenge to his administration.
