Lawyer for US authorities are to appeal against the ruling, which was delivered at the central criminal court by the district judge, Vanessa Baraitser.

District Judge Vanessa Baraitser said on Jan. 4 Assange was likely to commit suicide if sent to the U.S.

The U.S. government said it would appeal the decision.
