Ukraine Implements Severe Energy-Saving Measures to Tackle Power Shortage

Ukraine is on the verge of an energy crisis, necessitating a significant reduction in electricity consumption across the country. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced yesterday, as reported by UNIAN, that all public bodies have been tasked with cutting down on electricity use due to a substantial deficit in the nation's energy system.

Ministry recycles 66,000 tons of paper from old textbooks in 5 years

Within the scope of the "Zero Waste Project," the Education Ministry has announced that 66,416 tons of paper has been recycled and 167.7 million Turkish Liras ($5.25 million) in revenue generated to contribute to the national economy by recycling free textbooks which have been distributed every year.

IMAD notes decline in energy consumption in autumn

In September, most Slovenian companies expected to cut production by the end of the year in the face of the energy crisis. This has been reflected in electricity consumption, which was much lower last month year-on-year, said the Institute of Macroeconomic Analysis and Development (IMAD). The same goes for natural gas consumption in recent months.
