Greek anarchists have reacted to the death of a man killed in an explosion last week apparently caused by the accidental detonation of a homemade bomb in an apartment in central Athens.

Anarchists have claimed responsibility for an arson attack in the Zografou district of central Athens that destroyed several vehicles, including five private school buses, on March 14.

A group calling itself "Anarchist" claimed the attack that left broken windows at the Tense Architecture office in the Polygono district of Athens on February 5 in a post on the Athens Indymedia website at midnight Wednesday, denouncing it for undertaking the design of Exarchia Square above the new metro station that is being constructed.

A previously unknown anarchist guerrilla group group identifying themselves as "Armed Response" has claimed responsibility for the failed bomb attack against a judge at the Thessaloniki courthouse in northern Greece last week, the third such incident since December.
