The Deeper I Go | Athens | November 1-9

New York-based artist Maria Fragoudaki's solo exhibition, "The Deeper I Go, The More I Reveal," curated by Dr Katerina Koskina, runs through November 9 at the Blender Gallery (4 Zisimopoulou, theblendergallery.com).Twenty-one works exploring life and home, including interactive sound installations, will offer visitors an immersive experience into Fragoudaki's creative world.

In Heaven | Athens | To March 30

A former paper warehouse was made available to artist Nikos Artemis by the City of Athens for an audiovisual installation. The initiative is part of the municipal authority's ongoing efforts to utilize abandoned buildings in the city center and help revive neighborhoods that have fallen on hard times.

Guilty Landscapes | Athens | To July 3

Dries Verhoeven's project "Guilty Landscapes" transports images of uneasy responsibility into the white cube of a gallery. The Dutch artist's large-scale video installation is now on display at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Athens, confronting the viewer with jarring images of poverty and desperation and challenging them to form a personal connection with the person being viewed.

The Oscar-nominated Bulgarian: Our Government is Fake

Animator Theodor Ushev, nominated for the most prestigious award in the world of cinema - "Oscar" for his animation on Georgi Gospodinov's story, "Blind Vaysha" presented his new project in Bulgaria.

In the mirror, dimly is his first exhibition-installation in Bulgaria, which is open to the audience from February 20 to March 11 at the Sofia City Art Gallery.
