Greece-Bulgaria gas pipeline deal submitted to Parliament in Athens

An agreement between Greece and Bulgaria concerning the IGB natural gas pipeline project (Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria) was tabled in the Greek Parliament on Tuesday.

The agreement includes mutual commitments for the construction of the gas pipeline and for the transportation of gas after the project has been completed.

DEPA says Greece started receiving gas from TAP

Greece's state-controlled gas utility DEPA announced on Thursday that Greece started receiving natural gas from the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) after the completion of its construction in December.

DEPA signed a 25-year gas supply contract with TAP in 2013 for the supply of natural gas from the Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan.

EastMed gas agreement tabled in Parliament for ratification

An international agreement to build the EastMed gas pipeline, which will carry natural gas from the East Mediterranean to Europe through Greece, was submitted to Parliament on Tuesday for ratification.
The agreement was signed by Greece, Cyprus and Israel on January 2, 2020, in the presence of the leaders of the three countries.

IGI Poseidon signs MoU on Israeli gas pipeline

Israel Natural Gas Lines (INGL) is looking at building a natural gas pipeline to Europe under a memorandum of understanding signed with IGI Poseidon, it said on Tuesday.
The mooted EastMed pipeline could carry about 10 billion cubic meters of gas a year from the Eastern Mediterranean to Cyprus, Greece, Italy and other European markets.

Agreements For Financing the Gas Connection Bulgaria - Greece Are Signed

Several gas-to-gas agreements between Bulgaria and Greece have been signed in Sofia. The treaties were signed by the line ministers of the two countries - Temenuzhka Petkova, Konstantinos Hatzidakis, shareholders, the European Investment Bank and BEH.

The two ministers also signed an additional tax regime agreement for the pipeline for 25 years.
