Turkish intelligence sources have confirmed the death of Fethullah Gülen, the U.S.-based leader of the FETÖ terrorist organization, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on Oct. 21, saying that Ankara's fight against terrorism will continue.

Türkiye confirms death of FETÖ leader Gülen: foreign minister
Turkish intelligence sources have confirmed the death of Fetullah Gülen, leader of the FETÖ terror organization accused of orchestrating the failed 2016 coup attempt, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on Friday.
"The ringleader of this dark organization has died," Fidan stated during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart, Andrii Sybiha, in the capital Ankara.

Three FETÖ suspects captured at Greece border
Twelve people, including three FETÖ suspects, have been apprehended while attempting to illegally cross into Greece from the northwestern city of Edirne, the Defense Ministry announced on Aug. 28.
The individuals were intercepted by Turkish border forces, the ministry said in a written statement.
