The number of people working within the Interior Ministry's system will most probably drop to 47 000 by end-2015, with a further reduction to be implemented in 2016, according to Bulgaria's Deputy Interior Minister Filip Gunev.

Bulgaria's Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova is to request a new update of the budget of the Ministry for 2015, seeking to cover additional expenses amounting to BGN 21 330 000.

Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic saidon Friday that around 90,000 migrants have passed through Serbia since January.
According to him, "the police are fully capable of ensuring the security and safety of the country."

Interior Ministry bans all gatherings announced for Saturday
The Interior Ministry (MUP) has banned all gatherings scheduled for Saturday in Belgrade, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has confirmed.
Stefanovic told a press conference that the police, after performing security and operational checks, decided to ban all gahterings scheduled for tomorrow outside parliament.
